Peachy Banana Chia Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana, peeled

  • 1 ripe peach, peeled and pitted

  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup breast milk or formula

  • A dash of vanilla extract (optional)

  • Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Peel the banana and peach.

  1. Mash and Blend:

  • In a bowl, mash the banana and peach with a fork or blend them together for a smoother consistency.

  1. Add Chia Seeds:

  • Stir in the chia seeds, making sure they are well combined with the mashed fruits.

  • ix in Liquid:

  • Gradually add breast milk or formula while stirring. This helps create a pudding-like consistency as the chia seeds absorb the liquid.

  • Optional: Add Vanilla Extract:

  • If you'd like to enhance the flavor, add a dash of vanilla extract and mix well.

  • Refrigerate:

  • Transfer the mixture to a covered container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. This allows the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken the pudding.

  • Bananas are a good source of potassium and vitamin C.

  • Peaches provide vitamins A and C, as well as dietary fiber.

  • Chia seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and protein.
